hi and welcome back to another video today I’m taking a look at the brand new Dyson ball 2 animal edition upright vacuum cleaner is a a rated bagless vacuum cleaner that delivers extreme power for picking up all that dirt and dust so let’s take a look at it in a bit more detail [Music] so we have here the Dyson ball to an animal edition vacuum cleaner it’s a rated so it’s going to give you really really good energy efficiency so you can vacuum as much as you want and it’s not really going to break the bank one of the great things about Dyson is is that they put so much effort into R and their actual product development that they really do take it to the next level so the things from actually the technology that they’ve put into things like the ball technology or the cyclonic technology or the brush head technology really to deliver you the best of efficiency but also as well the best in picking up the dirt and dust that you may have in your floor’s or your carpets so I’ve owned many Dyson vacuum cleaners over the years and I’ve really enjoyed using them but also as well they’ve been extremely reliable now one of the things with this is it looks absolutely beautiful these colors just pop back to the old days of when I used to have on the first edition Dyson cleaner and it really does set it up really nicely again this is a bagless cleaner and it’s based using the very small cyclonic technology this is their new route cyclonic technology so what they’ve been able to do is develop much smaller cyclones there’s actually 12 within here and what it does is it it separates the dirt in the air as much as possible to basically deliver you the best ability to pick up all that dirt and dust and deliver it straight into the beam for easy emptying so to get the best clean Dyson utilize a technology that they developed which is cyclonic technology in their vacuum cleaners basically what it does is it uses cyclones to take the air and and separate the two to give you really high performance cleaning but also as well making sure that there’s no loss of suction now this technology just means that you can get a really high performance clean but you’re not having to worry about emptying bags or losing any suction or losing anything dirt and I think that’s the big thing once you start cleaning what you don’t want to be doing is letting anything particulate or any of that dust and dirt back out into the atmosphere so that you have to clean up again later so I think the best thing to do is show you this in action and show you how good the actual suction power is on this and talk you through some of the other features on the unit so time to do a little bit of cleaning so what I’ve got with me is I’ve got some of my trusty oats and I also as well have a bag of dust that’s already been collected in one of my other Dyson cleaners so let’s give it a bit of a chance and let’s see how it performs so I’m gonna pop some oats down first let’s pop these onto their outfit and then what I’m going to do is I’m going to pop down some of the dirt that I’ve already collected so let’s set it to that for fun let’s go over the flock [Music] so we’ve now got lots and lots of dirt on the floor and I think the best thing to do is test out the main brush bar on the actual unit and see how it performs and then what we’re going to do is we’re going to go over some of the other features that he’s got like the wand and some of the other brush bars and cleaners that we’ve got so let’s get cracking okay so let’s turn the you saw very simple to use just go with one little old white as you can see the cleaning capability of this unit is just absolutely dramatic is pretty much night and day upon the Cologne a group wants pass but it’s literally just got rid of everything in just one home and I’m just absolutely shocked I think it really is down to that fact that he’s just got such good suction power but marrying that up with the amazing brush bar that’s made from carbon and nylon bristles really just get deep into the pile to really get all of that dirt and all that dust that’s accumulated that pon the bar so let’s take a look at some of the accessories that come with it and how it picks up the rest of this so I have here the low profile brush head now this is designed to go underneath furniture underneath beds and really deliver that ability to get into all their nooks and crannies the you can’t get into with the main brush bar so I think the first thing to do is look at the performance and then let’s go through some of the features so cleaning up with this actual accessory is super easy so all we need to do just pop off one at the top of the actual unit we don’t have access to pop it onto the end of here 51 extra long reach or what we can do is we can disconnect it so we can just have the handle here and what I’m going to do is I’m just going to use it just with this to make it a little bit easier to get to on the floor so all we do is connect two pieces together you just snap together they don’t come apart unless we press the button at the top super super easy to do and they just bit so nicely together so let’s pop it on and let’s see how it performs on the rest of this [Applause] well I have to say it’s a love of winner for me it has picked up absolutely everything once again there’s only a couple little pieces here that just got caught on the edges when I put it down but perform that it is absolutely pristine just like the rest of it as I said about the main brush bar I think it really is down to the cyclonic technology but also as well in regards to these bristles the carbon and nylon bristles it really is digging down deep into there but it’s really using that suction power just to pull it all back in and pop it into that bin for easy cleaning so while we’re down here what we’ll do is we’ll take a look at the other accessory that comes with this and this is the tangle free brush and this is really designed for people who may have pets but also as well people who may have long hair and hate picking up hair or finding it entrapped all up in the brush heads and things like that so this is really designed for people who want to ensure that they can get all that hair picked up without any problems and without having to pop things off get some scissors cut the hair out we’ve all been there I don’t like you pretty sure that you don’t like it and this tool I’ve used these tools for a couple of years now and I’ve been absolutely blown away by how good these are but let’s see it in action so very very simple to do and the same manner as all the other accessories it’s just a clip-on and pressure button and away I finished up that little area and again is just totally pristine just likely all the times that I’ve cleaned and I think that’s the whole point about Dyson is no loss of suction and that’s the point is all about reliability and ensuring you get the best clean and I think that’s why so many people choose Dyson over the other competitors out there on the market so this tangle-free brush well this picture perhaps at you everything off the floor it’s picked up the heads Brits got left them in there and I think that’s the whole point just makes it so easy to pick up all of them and you may have up this block and also as well ensure that it all ends up in the bin rather than you having to oh okay so I’m going to finish up the rest of this and let’s take a look at some of the other features on the unit so as you can see the performance on this is absolutely astounding and the fact that we’ve got absolutely all of that within just this one little bin and it makes it so easy to clean up again all we do is we just press this button pop it off press it once again and he’s just gonna put all of that dirt into the bin now the wonderful thing that Dyson included on these vacuum cleaners is the fact that is super easy to clean the filters as well so these filters are super easy to clean all we do is locate it out and pop it underneath the tap so lay it dry overnight and hey presto your filters ready to go again now the great thing about that is that you’re gonna save your money also as well you’re going to ensure that you get the best clean every time so the other filter is just located behind this part of the vault so all we do is just open up the screw and then it’s just a quick turn and again just run this under the tap and it should last you a lifetime Dyson have delivered some amazing technology we in that bowl now that’s based on their epicyclic gear box basically three gears use the no main shutter drive to deliver high standard of cleaning and really high torque power to deliver through to the brush system that really deep down cleaning so if you start putting everything together the cyclonic technology the epicyclic gear box the carbon and nylon bristles the amazing brush bomb the buckler system you know absolutely all of this together have built a massive package that I just don’t think many competitors out there can even come up against and as you can see the results really speak for themselves so a long cycle of brush accessories that that Dyson include within the box they include also as well as some additional accessories so what we’ve got is we’ve got a crevice tool with a nice little brush on the end so making it very easy to go up into the top areas of maybe some walls or curtains things like that or if you’re in the car and you wanting to clean up between the seats and this is really really handy it’s quite a long one as well but he’s got a really nice storage place these just click into place previous models that I’ve had with the Dyson you just pop them in and they tended to fall out so as you were moving the unit around it would just fall out of this you’ve got to press the button to release it we also as well have an upholstery tool so again just press to release that and you straight away you’re able to start using that wherever you need so one of the other amazing things that Dyson have brought this unit is an innovative way of being able to clean and that’s their 360-degree cleaning capability so if I pop the one valve up here now this is just flip the lid now the handle comes up itself now this ball joint on here just means that I could start cleaning pretty much anywhere I want so I can get into all the nooks and crannies I don’t have to worry about hurting my back by bending over too long you know all of this is about simplicity but also it’s all about getting the best clean possible I think with a massive customer base and the ability to get all that great feedback really has helped to basically mold a wonderful system that allows people who may have back problems or don’t want to spend a lot of time bending over to clean up you know this is going to give them the ability to get up high but also as well get down low without any worries whatsoever so let’s see that in action so all I’m going to do is I’m going to use up one with a little brush attachment and let’s just get up into the top corners and see how it’s like the safe to use I can move this around I don’t need to work but also visible I’m going to get the best open to the little premises without any issue also as well as you can see I can move this wherever I need it so let’s pop the bottom back into place very simple to do just slip it over to the bottom of the handle and hey presto so it’s time for my honest opinion of the dyson ball – animal edition or bright vacuum cleaner as you can see I think the big thing is is actually seeing is believing it has cleaned up absolutely everything I’ve given it it’s had absolutely no issues whatsoever it doesn’t get tangled with hair it’s not lost any suction it has absolutely delivered way beyond my expectations but also as well it’s really really quiet compared to my previous Dyson is probably half the amount of noise but also has got one of the big things that I noticed as it was cleaning up it was so much softer to clean up it didn’t feel as as aggressive as my other dyson cleaners that I’ve had like the DC 40 and other ones like that I’ve really really been impressed and I think that’s down to the factory uses so many of them nylon and anti-static carbon bristles the other things that I’ve really liked about it is the inclusion of the anti tangled brush but also as well the fact that this low-profile brush is included as well that’s going to be really really handy for getting under beds and furniture and I’m really looking forward to using this a little bit more so one of the other things that I’ve really liked about it I think the fact is is that you know I can get this out I can move it around so easily I’ve got my ability to use that 360 degree technology on the wand so I can get into all them nooks and crannies that I wouldn’t normally be able to get to or it would be a little bit harder to get to so I’ve really enjoyed that and I’ll be absolutely honest I don’t think I can find any fault whatsoever with this unit at all it’s a rated it’s bagless it doesn’t lose suction it just cleans up exactly what I want when I want it without any problems whatsoever now the cord is huge sucking get from room to room without Hammond touch lots and lots of times so realistically
